These Terms of Use apply to plainprintmedicare.site (the “Site”). By using the Site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Site. You must be at least 18.

What PlainPrint is, and is not

PlainPrint is a free informational and referral service run by a private company. We publish general explanations of Medicare and, if you ask, pass your request to independent insurance agents and organizations. We are not an insurer, agent or broker. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the U.S. government or the federal Medicare program. We do not enroll you in any plan.

Information, not advice

The articles, dates, glossary and answers on the Site are general summaries written in plain language. They are simplified, can change, and are not legal, medical, tax or insurance advice. For information about all of your options, contact Medicare.gov, 1-800-MEDICARE (TTY 1-877-486-2048), Social Security, or your State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP). We do not offer every plan available in your area.

No promises

We do not promise that any plan, benefit, price or saving will be available to you. Plans vary by ZIP code, availability and eligibility. You alone decide what to do with the information you find here.

Our partners are separate companies

The organizations listed on our partners page are independent. We do not direct their work and are not responsible for what they say, offer or do. Being listed is not an endorsement. Please read any plan materials a partner gives you before deciding.

What you tell us

When you send a request you promise that the details are true and are yours to share. You allow us to give them to partners as described on the form and in our Privacy Policy, including permission to be contacted by phone, text and email. You can withdraw that permission at any time.

Please use the Site fairly

Do not submit false or someone else’s information, copy the Site with automated tools, try to break or probe its security, or use it to send unwanted messages.

Ownership

The Site’s writing, artwork, layout, code and the PlainPrint name belong to us or our licensors. You may read and print pages for your own personal use. Any other use needs our written permission.

Other websites

Links to other websites are for convenience. We do not control them and do not endorse them.

No warranty

The Site is offered “as is” and “as available,” without any guarantee that it is accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted or suited to your needs.

Limits on our responsibility

As far as the law allows, PlainPrint and its owners and staff are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses, including lost coverage or benefits, that come from using the Site or relying on a partner. If liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of what you paid us (nothing, for free use) or $100.

Disputes and where they are heard

Unless the law says otherwise, disputes will be settled by individual binding arbitration under the rules of [arbitration provider] in [city, state]. You give up the right to join a class action.
